McCain and Obama VP picks

What are my best guesses as to the vice-presidential choices of the two candidates? Drum roll please. For the Republicans: I think McCain is likely to pick Tom Ridge. Here's why (and have your say). On the Democratic Party side: Obama's likely choice will be Joe Biden. Here's why (and have your say).

Previously, I had been blogging about the Obama, McCain and the US election. I wrote about Sarah Palin on this blog even before McCain chose her to be his running mate. The choice was disappointing, and a possibility I had anticipated.
